Koï

Mixed media artwork on A4 Bristol Board, combining watercolour and colour pencils. 

Japan, including Japanese Art, inspire me a lot. 
In Japan, the carp (Koï in Japanese) is a symbol of strength, perseverance and prosperity. I tried to express theses symbols through this artwork using very bright colours. I really love this piece.
